Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert after a pickup truck was stolen with a 1-year-old in the back seat at a Baton Rouge gas station Wednesday morning.

The child has been found safe, Louisiana State Police said shortly before 9:30 a.m.

The suspect took the pickup about 7 a.m. at a gas station at 4650 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, state police said.

The Amber Alert was initially issued around 8:45 a.m.
