The Jackie Robinson Museum in Lower Manhattan is celebrating “Jackie Robinson Day” this weekend.

The baseball legend made his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15th, 1947. He broke the color barrier in modern major league baseball.

This weekend, the museum is hosting have activities for fans. They include customizing baseball caps with Robinson-inspired artwork, and story time and crafts for children.

The museum will also be open on Jackie Robinson Day, Wednesday, April 15th.
