COLUMBUS, Ohio — Firefighters responded to a fire at The Thurman Cafe in German Village on Sunday, according to the Columbus Division of Fire.
Crews responded just after 2:15 p.m. to the restaurant located at 183 Thurman Ave.
Columbus fire said the cafe had significant fire damage. No injuries were reported.
The restaurant, known for its burgers, was open at the time of the fire. It’s been a landmark of German Village since it was established in 1942 and was featured on an episode of “Man v. Food.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
