ST. PETERS, Mo. — A St. Louis-area teen is capturing the nation’s attention and preparing to deliver the performance of a lifetime on Tuesday night’s finale of NBC’s “The Voice.”
Liv Ciara, a 16-year-old student at St. Dominic High School, will compete Tuesday in the Season 29 finale.
Ciara first appeared on “The Voice” during Season 28 blind auditions but didn’t get a chair turn. She returned this season with renewed confidence and determination, earning a place on Team Kelly.
Music has been a part of the young singer’s life for as long as she can remember, from singing in grocery carts and on rides to school to serving as the lead singer in Groovethang, her dad’s band.
Ciara secured her spot in the show’s finale with a powerful rendition of Irene Cara’s “What A Feeling,” from the movie “Flashdance,” during Monday night’s semifinals.
You can catch “The Voice” finale at 8 p.m. Tuesday on 5 On Your Side or stream it the next day on Peacock.
