The Orlando Magic are starting an NBA Playoffs series against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. Orlando is adding a new player at the last minute to the team’s injury report. Guard Desmond Bane is probable for Game 1 after being listed on the report.

Bane is listed as having an illness, per the report. He joins two other players on the report including forward Jonathan Isaac, who remains questionable with a knee sprain. Orlando won 45 regular season games this season, and advanced in the play-in after whipping the Charlotte Hornets.

Desmond Bane’s injury status vs. Pistons
Magic fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as Bane is listed as probable. The point guard is averaging more than 20 points per game this season, and will be called upon to help lead Orlando’s offense on Sunday.

Against the Hornets in the play-in game, Bane posted 13 points. He shot 4-for-14 overall from the floor in the game. Bane finished with a plus-minus in the game of +30, and is essential to Orlando’s success.
Magic fans hope that Isaac can also play. He has missed more than a month of action, due to his knee injury. Isaac adds some pop off the bench.
The Magic and Pistons play Game 1 on Sunday at 6:30 ET. At time of writing, the Pistons have no players listed on the latest injury report.
