“Arrested Development” star David Cross thinks there are a lot of similarities between his TV character Tobias Fünke and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

In a recent interview on The Daily Beast’s “Obsessed: The Podcast,” the actor, 62, joked that he thinks RFK Jr. suffers from “never ****” syndrome just like his character in the sitcom.

The syndrome is based on a real psychological condition called gymnophobia, which is described as an intense, irrational fear or anxiety regarding ******.

“I think a guy who works out in his jeans is weird. That’s weird,” Cross said, referring to the top Trump official’s bizarre habit of sporting jeans while working up a sweat. “He’s already weird. He was weird way before he entered public office.”

In February, the Trump loyalist went viral after filming himself taking a cold plunge and cycling in a sauna — all while clad in his trademark jeans — alongside a shirtless Kid Rock for a video that Kennedy, 72, said was intended to inspire Americans to work out more.

“The thing you have to remember is, Tobias Fünke is deeply disturbed and deluded, and not especially bright. So in that way, sure, it’s relatable,” Cross said during the Apr. 17 episode of the podcast.

Cross made the comparison after host Matt Wilstein brought up a theory that’s been circulating online that Kennedy could “secretly [be] a ‘never ****’ like Tobias.”

In “Arrested Development,” Tobias, as a “never ****,” wears denim cutoffs constantly, even under other clothes or when he’s in the shower.

Last month, Kennedy gave a lengthy explanation about why he wears jeans even during strenuous activities like hiking after being mocked online.

“I just had a busy schedule always, so I would go hiking with my dogs in the morning and then I would go straight to the gym in my jeans, and it was just a convenience to work out. And then when I was campaigning, a couple of people took pictures of me in the gym wearing jeans, and, I don’t know. Then I just got in too deep,” he said during a Mar. 23 episode of “The Bossticks” podcast.
