Next week on CBS you are going to have a chance to see Sheriff Country season 1 episode 17, and there is something quite curious we can say from the start. The title here is “The Hunting Party,” which is of course the name of another show currently on the air. We can’t say there are many instances where that happens, no?

Anyway, we do just think that the title here is more of a coincidence than anything as we are gearing up here for a story that is going to be totally separate from the NBC show. Instead, it is fitting for what is happening with Mickey Fox, as she will be at the center for a story that is all about a boar hunt.

We are at a point of the season now where it feels reasonable to say we are in the home stretch. There are only four more stories to go, and we tend to imagine that they are all going to be big in their own way. Given that fact that a season has already been greenlit, we would not be shocked at all if there is a cliffhanger that happens close to the end here.
