LATEST FORECAST
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Saturday morning clouds and fog will clear by midday, allowing most of us to enjoy some sunshine this afternoon! Highs top out in the upper 70s today. A stray shower can’t be entirely ruled out but nearly all of us will stay dry. Look for mostly clear skies Saturday night with lows dipping down into the 50s by Sunday morning. Sunday is the pick of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s. This will be fantastic weather for the Pegasus Parade, streaming live on WAVE Now at 3PM Sunday afternoon. Partly cloudy and likely dry Sunday night. Lows in the 50s.
A WAVE Weather Alert Day is in place for a severe storm risk late Monday night. Storms should be weakening on approach but all hazards remain possible, so stay close to the forecast. As of now, storm coverage looks to increase after 10PM Monday night. Additional rain chances are with us late Tuesday into early Wednesday, as well as Friday for the Kentucky Oaks. It will certainly be a cool Oaks and Derby this year with highs struggling into the low 60s each day but exact rain chance specifics are still up in the air. Stay tuned for updates!
