Who’s hosting tonight’s May 2 episode of SNL, and who’s Musical Guest?
Olivia Rodrigo.
The 23-year-old singer songwriter’s third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, drops on June 12. And tonight, she’s following in the footsteps of Sabrina Carpenter and Harry Styles as both Host and Musical Guest of tonight’s episode.
Rodrigo’s double duty turn means she’ll have a chance to show off her comedic timing and acting skills, in addition to performing two songs. One of those will be a track fans have never heard before, she told Jimmy Fallon during her April 30 Tonight Show visit.

Of hosting SNL, Rodrigo told Fallon, “I’m so, so excited. It’s always been a huge dream of mine, and so I’m so grateful that Lorne let me do it. Getting to be there and with all of the funniest people on the planet and just, like, having fun and making jokes all day, it’s literally a dream, and I’m just so honored.”
