Yankees outfielder Jasson Domínguez was carted off in the first inning of Thursday’s matinee against the Rangers after colliding hard with the left-field wall.
Domínguez ran back hard to corral Texas leadoff hitter Brandon Nimmo’s sharp line drive and made the catch, but hit the wall hard and went down. Manager Aaron Boone and the team’s medical staff came out to check on him, and Domínguez was removed on a medical cart.
Domínguez, 23, was called up on April 28 to replace injured slugger Giancarlo Stanton after a hot start at the Triple-A level. He entered Thursday hitting .200 with a homer and four RBIs in eight games for New York in 2026.
