Authorities in New Hampshire are searching for an inmate who walked away from a transitional housing unit on Saturday night.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections said that 39-year-old Shawn Michael Bailey, a minimum-security inmate of the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester, has been placed on escape status.

After being placed on house restriction, Bailey left Calumet House around 10:35 p.m. Saturday, and they said his current whereabouts are unknown.

Bailey is described as being about 5’5″ tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded “CCM” sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers.

He was incarcerated for a probation violation and gun and drug charges, and had a maximum custody release date of Aug. 1, 2029.
