Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull agrees with head coach Stephanie White regarding her recent injury management. The 26-year-old missed the entire preseason battling hamstring tightness.
Hull received clearance for the regular-season opener against the Dallas Wings. White opted to ease her return, playing her just 15 minutes during the Fever’s 107-104 loss. The 6-foot-1 guard went scoreless and grabbed one rebound.

White previously stated she would not rush the guard back onto the court. Hull agreed with the decision to err on the side of caution.
“Good, good,” Hull said of her hamstring on Tuesday. “We still might be on a bit of a minute restriction, but I feel good to be out there.
“It’s great to be back with the girls and get to play live, for sure.”
Hull projects as a vital cog for the Fever this season. The fifth-year pro enters 2026 following a career-best campaign. She averaged 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.

This offseason, Hull signed a two-year contract extension worth $1.568 million. She remains with the franchise that selected her sixth overall in 2022.
Hull was a bright spot for an injury-ravaged Indiana squad last season. She appeared in all 44 regular-season games and earned 30 starts. The 6-foot-1 player also produced in other categories. She averaged career highs of 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
Hull also stretched the floor effectively. She improved her perimeter shooting by converting 36.7 percent of three-point attempts. She elevated her game further during the playoffs, averaging 10.3 points.

Managing her minutes represents a calculated approach by White. A long regular season awaits the Indiana roster. The Fever play the Los Angeles Sparks next on Wednesday.
