PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police took a man into custody following a barricade situation in Philadelphia’s Chinatown section Thursday.

Officers responded to the 900 block of Arch Street around 11:30 a.m. for a male armed with a gun inside the property.

A barricade was declared by police around 12:11 p.m., according to officials.

Chopper 6 was over the scene, where several police vehicles could be seen blocking the street.

A SWAT vehicle could also be seen outside the property.

Around 1:45 p.m., officials say a man was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.
