GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Security cameras captured a police chase just before 8 p.m. Friday.

A police officer is seen speeding through the parking lot of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral as a man in a red sweatshirt and grey sweatpants runs out towards the street.

The officer then flips on the lights, driving the wrong way as the suspect crosses the street into the back of WBAY-TV’s station parking lot.

The suspect stops for a second before continuing to run. An officer is seen exiting the squad car, chasing the man on foot.

Seconds later, the suspect put his hands up, dropping to the ground as the officer tackles him.

Police on scene say the man had a warrant and ran from police, which started the chase.
