NEW ORLEANS — Power is restored for Entergy customers after more than 10,000 were without power in New Orleans Wednesday afternoon, according to Entergy’s outage map.

Power was fully restored sometime after 6 p.m. At one point, 10,158 residents were impacted by the outage.

The areas affected included St. Roch, Florida Area, St. Claude and parts of the Marigny.

“Entergy New Orleans is aware of an outage currently impacting approximately 10,000 customers. Entergy crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. Cause is under investigation at this time.”

According to the map, power was expected to be restored by 6 p.m.
