Pat McAfee and his wife, Samantha, welcomed their second child to the world Friday through an emergency C-section surgery.

McAfee took to social media to announce the birth of their son, Midas, and provide an update:

According to the announcement, Midas had to go to the NICU after he was born earlier than expected. That involved a CPAP, a feeding tube and a heating lamp during a NICU stay of approximately 36 hours.

McAfee wrote that “A FULL CELEBRATION occurred” when Midas was released back to their room and revealed he watched Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 with his newborn son.

This is Pat and Samantha’s second child, and he said they “can’t wait” for their daughter Mackenzie to meet her new brother.
