As you are probably aware, Spencer Pratt, former head menace on The Hills, is running for mayor of Los Angeles. He has secured endorsements from Joe Rogan, Donald Trump, and Paris Hilton, but there is at least one reality star who does not think reality stars make for great political leaders. And that person is former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.
On the American Music Awards red carpet, Rinna, wearing a tie with John F. Kennedy’s face on it, told Variety that she will definitely not be voting for Pratt, or any reality star, in the upcoming election for LA mayor. “I’m sorry, I love him but we’ve already done that. We’re not gonna do that again,” she said. She added, humbly, “Listen, I’m a reality person. You wouldn’t want me as mayor.” Rinna admitted that she doesn’t know who, exactly, she would like for mayor of LA but she does know that reality TV stardom does not translate well to politics, and she’s sticking to her guns on that. As far as political ideologies go, I’ve heard worse.
