Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab def. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss | Six-Woman Tag Team Match
Former WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill and her destructive crew picked up a major win at Saturday Night’s Main Event by knocking off Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Ripley, Bliss and Flair looked like a superteam early on, laying waste to B-Fab and Michin with a series of picture-perfect tag team maneuvers. However, that all changed when Cargill leveled Bliss with a massive Superkick.
The ensuing stare down between Flair and Cargill saw several cheap shots being thrown as the former WWE Women’s Champion smashed Ripley and Michin cracked The Queen.
Flair was in deep trouble as Michin beat her from pillar to post, but a Big Boot finally allowed her to tag in The Eradicator.
All six Superstars found themselves in the ring after Michin nailed Flair with a Styles Clash, leaving just Cargill and Ripley when the dust settled.
Ripley, Flair and Bliss were all finally on the same page and looked destined for a victory, but a furious Cargill re-entered the battle and knocked out the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, leaving The Eradicator to get crushed with a match-ending Jaded.
Sol Ruca def. Becky Lynch via Disqualification
The highly anticipated match between Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and Sol Ruca ended in controversial fashion when The Man seemingly got herself intentionally disqualified.
The champion wasted no time at all as she attacked Ruca before the bell even rang, but the official promptly started the match when Ruca retaliated.
Ruca was all over Lynch the entire match, forcing Lynch to think quickly and pull the official in the way of a Sol Snatcher, causing a disqualification.
After the match, The Man launched a hellacious assault on Ruca.
Intercontinental Champion Penta def. Ethan Page
The Intercontinental Championship remains with Penta after a fierce battle with newcomer Ethan Page.
The challenger was up to the task as he dominated the early goings, even tossing the champion spine-first onto the announce table.
Penta refused to go down without a fight as his unpredictable offense caught Page off-guard, highlighted by a scintillating Tope con Hilo and a Flying Crossbody.
Scores of Penta chants cascaded down from the WWE Universe, but All Ego didn’t let it faze him as he continued to kick out of the champion’s devastating maneuvers, including the Penta Driver.
In a desperate attempt, Page exposed a top turnbuckle and sent Penta headfirst into it, but it wasn’t enough to win the title.
In a twist, Penta returned the favor and sent the challenger crashing into the exposed steel before hitting a huge Mexican Destroyer to retain his championship.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige & Brie Bella def. The Irresistible Forces
The Irresistible Forces failed in their quest to regain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as Brie Bella and Paige remain on top.
Nia Jax and Lash Legend were in full control as neither Bella or Paige could get any momentum as The Boujee Bully systematically dominated the match.
Jax nearly had the match won against the WWE Hall of Famer, but a swift kick from Paige broke up the pinfall.
The Irresistible Force continued to have Paige in her sights, but the champion flipped her hips and used some leverage from Bella to stun Jax and retain the title.
World Tag Team Champions The Vision def. The Street Profits
The Street Profits came up just short against World Tag Team Champions The Vision at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The WWE Universe in Fort Wayne, Ind., was not happy to see Logan Paul, as they serenaded him with boos and cheered loudly when Montez Ford frustrated him with a pair of arm drag takedowns and a dropkick.
After nearly leaving the bout entirely, The Vision gained control as Paul began mocking a downed Angelo Dawkins, all while “The Oracle” Paul Heyman grinned a wicked smile at ringside.
Austin Theory continued the assault, but Dawkins persevered and tagged in Ford, who proceeded to launch himself off the top rope with an incredible flying elbow.
Dawkins recovered long enough to hoist up Theory for a huge Doomsday Device-Blockbuster, but The Maverick flew in and broke up the pinfall at the last second.
Bron Breakker arrived out of nowhere, but his Spear was thwarted with a massive pounce by Dawkins, and Heyman’s quick thinking allowed The Vision to stay in the fight.
Paul used the chaos as a smokescreen to hit his loaded right hand to knock Ford clean out, which enabled Theory to pin him.
After the match, Breakker, Theory and Paul got back into the ring and continued to attack The Street Profits in a pointed message.
