CASPER, Wyo. — Monday is here once again. Don’t worry: The week will go by quickly. It always does. To pass the time, there are a few things happening throughout the day, and you are invited to them. From Hatha Yoga to Mug Club Monday, this is what’s happening Monday in the Oil City.

The Oil City Daily Event Guide is sponsored by Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo.

Theraexpressions Meditations is hosting a Hatha Yoga class on Monday from noon to 1 p.m.

“There is nothing you need to change about your body to begin,” the event page states. “Not flexibility. Not strength. Not shape. Not size. You are already allowed in yoga. Exactly as you are. Hatha Yoga is not about achieving poses but rather inhabiting yourself gently, kindly and without comparison. We explore foundational postures slowly with our own breath as our guide and self-respect as our pace because yoga was never meant for perfect bodies. It was meant for present ones for body positivity is not an idea. It is a lived experience where options are offered, choice is honored and rest is respected. Where you are invited to listen inward instead of reaching outward for an image of ‘enough.’

“Hatha is: strength that feels supportive, not punishing flexibility without force trust in your body’s wisdom release from comparison and self-judgment a deeper connection to breath and spirit Not by pushing past limits but by befriending them. The art of Hatha at its heart means balance. The sun and moon, effort and ease, doing and being. When practiced with compassion, it becomes something more. A quiet reclamation of belonging inside your own body. All levels are yogis welcomed. Come exactly as you are today. Leave a little more at home in yourself.”
