The New York Knicks are on the road Friday night as they travel to take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

New York enters Friday’s game with a 1-0 series lead after defeating San Antonio on the road in Game 1 Wednesday night.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Spurs, Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks as he recorded 30 points and three rebounds while Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists of his own.

The Knicks will try to steal another victory in San Antonio Friday as they look to grab a commanding 2-0 series lead before returning to New York for Game 3.

San Antonio enters Friday’s contest trailing 0-1 in the series after losing at home to the Knicks Wednesday night in Game 1.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for the Spurs in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 26 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks while Stephon Castle recorded 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 2 Friday night, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Knicks Injury Report: Will Jalen Brunson, Mitchell Robinson Play?

The Knicks have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed center Mitchell Robinson as probable.

New York has listed Robinson as probable due to a fractured right pinky finger and he is expected to play through the injury once again in Game 2 after he logged 13 minutes in Game 1.

The good news for the Knicks is that Brunson is off the injury report entirely after appearing to injure his right knee and left ankle in Game 1, though he was able to play through both injuries.

Spurs Injury Report

The Spurs enter Friday’s matchup with a healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report.

This is great news for San Antonio as the team tries to bounce back after their loss in Game 1 Wednesday night as they look to even the series at 1-1 with a victory at home Friday.
