Becky G is ready to share her side of the story.

Two years after fiancé Sebastian Lletget apologized amid allegations he cheated on her, the “Mayores” hitmaker opened up about the scandal for the first time.

“I was 19 and Sebastian was 23 when we first met,” Becky recalled in her new documentary Rebecca, per People. “Definitely not looking for it, and I will say it was different for both of us.”

The couple wound up getting engaged in December 2022 after six years together, only for rumors to begin swirling four moths later that Sebastian had cheated on Becky. For the artist, the public scrutiny was tough to navigate.

“This is when I have a really hard time with the concept of, ‘This is what you signed up for,'” she said in the doc. “I did not sign up for this. I feel like behind closed doors is my experience.”

The 28-year-old added it was “hard to feel safe” discussing the scandal after already having been through “so much pain.”
