Throughout his career as a golfer, Justin Rose has won four major championships (including the 2013 U.S. Open) and an Olympic Gold Medal in 2016. Despite all these achievements, Justin’s wife, Kate Rose (née Phillips), who has been his partner for almost all of that time, has been a source of support and motivation to him during his time on the PGA TOUR. Kate, who was an international gymnast, first met Justin over 25 years ago; since then, she has continued to play an important role in both his personal and professional lives.
Phillips Kate’s early life and path to meeting Justin Rose
Growing up in Chiswick, London, Kate attended a prestigious school for girls before earning a French and Italian degree from the University of Sussex (in 1998). She also competed at an elite level as a gymnast and was an international representative for England. During her time at university, she played sports, including hockey. Organising and running tours to support athletes is often done by organisations known as sports agencies, such as IMG (International Management Group). In the early 2000s, after graduating, she became an assistant at the agency IMG. This changed my life forever.That job also led her to meeting Pro Golfer Justin Rose, whom the agency represented at the time. They began dating in 2000 after Kate began travelling internationally to support Justin at golf tournaments. They married in December 2006, and by 2026, they will have been together for approximately 20 years.
Family life and shared charitable efforts
Justin & Kate welcomed their son Leo in February 2009, and their daughter Lottie was born in early 2012; this collection makes a nice family of 4. In addition to London, in keeping with Justin’s concert schedule, Justin & Kate have lived in many places, including Orlando, Florida, and ultimately at their current address in the Bahamas. Because of the many moves they have made, Kate works hard to keep the kids connected to their English roots.Also, in 2009, Justin and Kate had already formed the Justin & Kate Rose Foundation. The foundation aims to help children living in poverty in Central Florida by providing them with access to better nutritional and educational opportunities. Since being launched, Justin and Kate’s Foundation has expanded by forming partnerships with many programs that provide food and books to children in need on weekends. Justin frequently talks about Kate’s leading role in their efforts to give back and describes Kate’s commitment as being inspirational, with a lot of heart.
