Breeze Airways announces 2 new destinations from Myrtle Beach

  • February 25, 2026

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Breeze Airways will now provide service to two northeastern destinations.

The airline announced on Tuesday that it will now include routes to Pittsburgh, Pa., and Portland, Maine. It also announced the expansion of existing services.

“Myrtle Beach continues to grow, and with an influx of people moving to the region, there is a demand for more travel,” Founder and CEO of Breeze Airways David Neeleman said.

The CEO added that the company is happy to be offering travelers in the region more affordable and convenient options.

Service to Pittsburgh will include nonstop flights on Mondays and Fridays starting July 3, the airline said.

Breeze announced that trips to Portland, Maine, will include one-stop, no-change-of-plane BreezeThru service starting July 2.

“Portland becomes the farthest northeast destination served from Myrtle Beach, opening the door to even greater connectivity to Maine and New England,” Neeleman said.

The expansion of existing services includes:

  • Akron-Canton, Ohio, (existing route increasing to daily beginning July 1);
  • Fort Lauderdale, Fla., (existing route increasing to six times weekly beginning July 1);
  • New York/Islip, N.Y., (existing route increasing to four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning July 1);

Myrtle Beach travelers can book the new flight expansions beginning Tuesday, the airline said.
