Ronda Rousey believes shareholders control the UFC in 2026

Ronda Rousey was asked about the current state of the UFC during a press conference on Tuesday.

‘Rowdy’ was promoting her upcoming comeback fight with Gina Carano, which will headline a Most Valuable Promotions show on May 16.

The former UFC bantamweight believes Dana White has lost control of MMA’s premier promotion, which is now run by money-hungry shareholders.

“Once they moved into the streaming model, it’s just not about putting on the best fights possible anymore,” Rousey said.

“Dana is legally beholden to the shareholders and to maximize shareholder value.

“Unfortunately, now that they’ve taken the reins of the company away from him, it’s barely recognizable.

“They need to be saved from themselves, and luckily, I’m here to be their hero.

Ronda Rousey: Dana White knows the UFC White House card sucks

Dana White promised to deliver the biggest UFC show of all time at the White House on June 14.

So, everyone was feeling a bit let down when he announced the six-bout card on Saturday night.

The UFC White House main and co-main events are strong, but the rest of the fights are lackluster.

Ronda Rousey claimed White ‘knows the White House card sucks’ in another attack on the UFC.

“Dana knows the White House card sucks,” the 39-year-old insisted. “He knows that they were pushing this for over a year, and it fell extremely short of expectations.

“I mean, he was so upset about it, he was talking about a fight falling out the day before.

“I can guarantee you he’s not happy with it either.”
