Coming into the game this evening, Houston will of course be without Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams again. Nothing new here, but they’re expected to have their full roster otherwise. They should have an advantage with Anthony Edwards out on the other side.

The Rockets have one more chance to win a season series against the best Western Conference teams. They failed to come out on top (or even tie) in their matchups against the Nuggets, Lakers, Spurs, and Thunder. The only other team in the top six is Minnesota.
One positive for Houston is that Anthony Edwards has been ruled out of this game for his fifth straight absence. This helped the Rockets come away with a win in the January 16th matchup. Tune in tonight to see if they can have a repeat of that success and regain the 5th seed for the time being.
