A devoted mother and a hard worker — that’s how loved ones are remembering Alyssa Hill, who was stabbed to death while working at the Skyline Chili in Norwood on Tuesday. Known fondly as Ally, she leaves behind two young children.”She was so hardworking and wanted nothing more than to see her beautiful two children succeed in life,” said Ally’s childhood best friend, Tessa Lowery.The man arrested for her murder, Rick Wright, is an ex-boyfriend.He went before a judge Wednesday charged with murder, and is being held with no bond in the Hamilton County Justice Center.”This is an individual who has demonstrated a history of violence,” said a Hamilton County prosecutor.Court records show Wright had a warrant for his arrest for violating parole in connection to an assault charge from last year.In court, prosecutors also said he has prior convictions, including robbery and drug trafficking.”She was just so small and innocent and fragile. I just don’t see how he could do that to her,” said Kayla Elliott, a dear friend of Ally’s.Ally’s loved ones, still in shock. “She worked every single day. All of her customers loved her,” Elliott said.There’s now a GoFundMe page to collect donations for funeral arrangements and to support Ally’s family.
