Brooke Shields will be coming back to TV in a new series called You’re Killing Me.

Fans learned that You’re Killing Me will officially premiere on May 18, 2026, on Acorn TV.

The last time Brooke appeared on TV was a cameo on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart in early 2026.

Who’s ready to have Brooke Shields back on their TVs?

It’s been some time since Brooke starred in her own project, even though she last popped up on TV with a cameo in Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart earlier this year. And even though she’s busy with her Commence haircare line and promoting her books, fans still love any chance to see Brooke flex her acting skills.

Luckily, that time has come, according to an exciting announcement Brooke posted on Instagram. Sharing a video of herself at home, the actress revealed her new series, You’re Killing Me, will officially premiere on May 18, 2026, on Acorn TV. What’s more, she expressed how excited she is for everyone to see all the hard work it took to bring this story to life.

“#YoureKillingMe premieres Monday, May 18th on @acorn_tv!” she wrote in the caption on April 6. “I’m so proud of what our cast and crew created, and we could not be more excited for you to see this show! 🫆🕵️‍♀️🔍.”

Now, Brooke has a loyal following, including the support of her loving family. So, when she announced this big news about her career, it didn’t take long before her oldest daughter, Rowan shared her thoughts.

“YOU’RE KILLING ME MAKING ME WAIT FOR THIS PREMIERE,” Rowan shouted in the comments.

And just like Rowan, Brooke’s fans were equally excited by the prospect of seeing her back on TV.

“Sounds like a show right up my alley!!” one person exclaimed. “Cannot wait. So excited!!! 💗,” another cheered. “You bet I’ll watch it! You are the Mistress of Comedy girl!! ❤️,” a different follower added.

For those curious about the premise of You’re Killing Me, the six-episode dramedy sees Brooke portraying a famed author who finds herself in the middle of a case involving the murder of a close friend. As she sets out to find the culprit, she must turn to a young podcaster (played by Sullivan’s Crossing star Amalia Williamson) to help solve the crime. And if you want to see a sneak peek of what’s to come, well, the show actually dropped a teaser trailer on March 10! Check it out below:
