Monaco have a fairly new manager in Sebastien Pocognoli, who
led Union Saint-Gilloise to the first ever Belgian title last season.

That was the 38-year-old’s first season as a first-team
manager. He replaced the sacked Adi Hutti at Monaco earlier this month.

He only took charge for the first time in the weekend’s draw with Angers.

“Of course it’s hard,” says Spurs boss Thomas Frank about preparing
for a new manager.

“But we studied for a couple of weeks. His team at Union did
very well, they won the championship in Belgium. So, that’s what we do. We look
at the last game they played and then a lot of games from Union.

“We have a good idea of what they want but also, we know
that the very talented players speak for themselves, also under the former
manager when they drew 2-2 here against City.”
