The Denver Broncos are the form team in the NFL right now and they will take some stopping when they face the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in the early hours of Monday morning.

Last time out the Broncos saw off last season’s NFL Championship runners-up, the Kansas City Chiefs, to make it eight wins on the bounce going into this game.

In stark contrast, Washington continue to struggle without injured star quarterback Jayden Daniels and are on a six-game losing streak as they head into this daunting test against the rampant Broncos.

Washington Commanders vs Denver Broncos Prediction

Best Bet – Denver Broncos -6.5 @ 20/23

Given the contrast in form, it’s hard to look past the Broncos not only claiming the win at Washington but also covering the spread.

The Commanders have missed Daniels but their defence has been doing them no favours, conceding 41 or more points against the Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions this season.

With Denver quarterback Bo Nix in excellent form, expect the Broncos to continue their impressive run and add to Washington’s woes.

Alternative Bet – Bo Nix 250+ passing yards @ 33/20

Nix has enjoyed a tremendous season, throwing 18 touchdown passes for 2,421 yards through the air.

With Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims Jr in his wide receiver unit, Nix has the weapons at his disposal to really hurt teams.

Having thrown for 295 yards against the Chiefs last time out, Nix looks to be good value to surpass the 250 passing yard mark against the Commanders.

Washington Commanders vs Denver Broncos Bet Builder Tip

  • Troy Franklin to score a touchdown

  • Courtland Sutton to score a touchdown

    Pays 23/4

This Bet Builder continues with the foundation that the Broncos should be able to get after this shaky Washington defence.

Franklin and Sutton are battling it out to see who can score the most touchdowns this season.

As it stands, Franklin has five and Sutton has four, but both can add to their TD collections against a Washington defence that has conceded an average of 26.9 points per game this term.

Tactics, Form and Team News

Starting with the hosts, Washington quarterback Daniels is working his way back from an elbow injury but Monday morning’s game is likely to come too soon for the playmaker.

Wide receivers Jaylin Lane and Treylon Burks are also questionable for this game, while fellow receiver Noah Brown and defensive end Drake Jackson are ruled out with groin and knee injuries respectively.

As for Denver, the Broncos still appear to be finding ways to win football games without star running back J.K. Dobbins, who was lost to a season-ending foot injury.

Linebackers Kareene Reid and Drew Sanders have been ruled out of Monday’s game with hamstring and foot injuries respectively, while fellow linebacker Jonah Elliss and tight end Nate Adkins are both questionable for the clash at Northwest Stadium.
