Move over, James Bond. There’s a new spy in town.

“The Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein has turned herself in to the authorities due to a felony charge accusing her of spying, according to TMZ.

To be clear, she wasn’t spying on behalf of a foreign government. Lisa is simply accused of spying on her ex-husband, Lenny Hochsten. Not quite as exciting as James Bond, but still pretty interesting.

According to TMZ, prosecutors allege Lisa “unlawfully and intentionally” tried to intercept wire, oral, or electronic communications involving Lenny and others he spoke with. This all goes back to March 2023, a few months before Lenny accused Lisa of planting a “listening device” under his car to monitor his phone calls.

Lisa isn’t the only person charged in this scheme. Her ex-boyfriend, Jody Glidden, is facing the same charge and was taken into custody last weekend. He was released on a $5,000 bond, according to People. Glidden also submitted a plea of not guilty and requested a jury trial.

The reality star’s attorney clarified that her surrender is voluntary and part of a pre-arranged agreement following the charge, adding that Lisa “has nothing to hide.” Her legal team also said in a statement, “This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.”

Lisa and Lenny were married for 13 years before he filed for divorce in 2022.
