The Seattle Seahawks are re-signing cornerback Josh Jobe to a three-year, $24 million contract, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Jobe, 27, rose from an undrafted free agent to a reliable No. 2 corner for the Seahawks, who boasted the league’s best scoring defense. He only intercepted one pass in 16 regular-season games last year for the Super Bowl-champion Seahawks, but his coverage metrics were strong.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Jobe allowed only 5.4 yards per target and a 47.7% completion rate in 2025. Those were both fourth-best among 61 cornerbacks who were targeted at least 50 times. His 71.1 passer rating allowed was fifth-best.

Jobe began his career with the Philadelphia Eagles after going undrafted in 2022 out of Alabama, where he won a national championship. He appeared in 28 games with three starts over two seasons in Philadelphia before he was waived on cut-down day in 2024.

Jobe joined the Seahawks’ practice squad and earned a full-time promotion to their active roster in November of the 2024 season after taking over as their No. 3 corner behind Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen. He recorded one interception and seven passes defensed over the final 10 games.

Jobe overtook Woolen as Seattle’s No. 2 corner in September last season. He finished with 12 passed defended in the regular season — missing one game with a concussion — then had another in the playoffs.

ESPN’s Brady Henderson contributed to this report.
