Think Advisors, a US-based tax consulting practice, has announced that its R&D Tax Credit Services practice has joined the Crete Professionals Alliance, a national network of accounting and advisory companies.
The move also covers the R&D (research and development) tax credit practice of Black Line Group, Think’s wholly owned subsidiary.
Think Advisors delivers federal and state R&D tax credit services nationwide for eligible businesses across different industries.
A statement said the partnership adds “tax credit expertise” onto the Crete platform, strengthening the tax solutions that member companies can offer their clients.
For Think, the partnership is set to extend the reach of its services across a wider US footprint.
Think managing partner David Mayer said: “Our partnership with Crete Professionals Alliance represents a great opportunity for us and an exciting new chapter for our R&D Tax Credit Services practices.
“By joining Crete, we have an eye on the future, enhancing the tools and support available to our team while remaining true to the culture, values and personalised service that have defined our R&D Tax Credit Services practices for the last two decades.”
Within the Crete Professionals Alliance, Think will continue to operate with its existing team and leadership structure.
Through the network, it will be linked to more than 40 accounting practices and gain access to shared corporate support functions including human resources, finance, legal and IT services.
The arrangement also provides Think with AI-enabled tools and automation platforms designed to support service delivery and business development.
Crete Professionals Alliance CEO Steve Stagner said: “We are intentionally building a platform that brings together firms with deep, specialised expertise that can support the broader network.
“Think Advisors is a leader in R&D tax credit services, and their capabilities will be a valuable resource for our partner firms and their clients.
“This is exactly the type of partnership that strengthens the platform: expanding what we can deliver collectively while helping specialised teams like Think scale their impact.”
“Think Advisors’ R&D tax credit unit joins Crete Professionals Alliance” was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
