Grimes County Crime Stoppers will honor local law enforcement at its annual awards dinner May 14, where the county's 2025 Officer of the Year will be announced. 

The group has presented the significant award for nearly 40 years, stepping in to fill the role typically held by 100 Clubs in other parts of the state. Grimes County media personality Kenny Graves will kick things off at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 301 Church St. in Navasota. 

Awards for Meritorious Service, Excellence in Support and a special Humanitarian Award will also be presented to deserving law enforcement personnel.
