A popular summer gathering spot on Lake Minnetonka was severely damaged by a fire overnight.
Fire crews are still on scene at Haskell’s in Excelsior, where they are working to assess the damage.
The building at the corner of Water and Lake Street is home to a bar, restaurant and a liquor store.
There is no official word on what may have started the fire.
Officials on scene told our 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crew that nobody was injured by the fire.
We have reached out to city officials for more information but have not yet received an update.
Haskell’s has been around since 1934.
