Legendary rock band’s founding member says 2026 ‘will probably be it’ for group

“I think this will probably be it,” Henley said in the interview according to Ultimate Classic Rock. “I feel like were getting toward the end, and that will be fine, too.”

The iconic group currently has a string of shows slated for the Sphere in Las Vegas that runs through March, and another show scheduled for May 2 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Ultimate Classic Rock reported that Henley was asked if he thought 2026 would be the band’s final year.

“I think so, yeah,” he replied. “And I am OK with that.”

The outlet said that Henley was asked why he felt like this might be it, and he said he would like to spend more time with his family.
