A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Tokyo and neighboring prefectures at about 7:06 p.m. on Wednesday, registering 3 out of 7 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in Tokyo metropolitan area, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. No tsunami is expected.
