Here they come now… Notre Dame’s run in the transfer portal is a good one this year, and today most are being made public. Next up is Ohio State wide receiver, Quincy Porter.
Porter was a 5-Star prospect in 2025 from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey. At 6’4” and 210 pounds, Porter is the prototype for what the irish are looking for in a boundary receiver. It’s not just his ideal frame either, Porter’s elite speed and athleticism instantly puts him in a position to compete right away for a starting job with the Irish in 2026.

Like most high profile wide receivers over the years, Ohio State was the perfect landing spot with Brian hartline in charge — but now that he’s gone, it seems as though there might be a more balanced way of spreading out the talent at the position. Notre Dame was able to sell Porter on a lot of things, but immediate playing time is one of the biggest factors.
Porter played in just 5 games as a freshman and pulled in 4 receptions for 59 yards. He has four years of eligibility left in college.
Welcome to Notre Dame Quincy!
