Crowd gathers in Downtown El Paso waiting to catch a glimpse of BTS
In a video shared with El Paso Times, dozens of fans lined the streets along with law enforcement officers and security personnel near Cafe Central.
The stage is set for tonight's BTS concert — the first of two performances at Sun Bowl Stadium.
More than 40,000 fans are expected to watch the international music group perform in the stadium carved into our beloved Franklin Mountains on Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3, as part of the BTS world tour 'ARIRANG.'
Doors to the Sun Bowl open at 5:30 p.m. for general ticket sales, though fans with VIP tickets could check into the stadium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Here's what to know about tonight's schedule:

If you're looking for last-minute tickets, there are still general admission tickets available on Ticketmaster as of 2 p.m. on Saturday. Ticket prices start at $131.70 for Saturday, while Sunday tickets start at $92.95.
A BTS concert typically lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, according to Vivid Seats. The tour does not appear to have an opening act.
BTS’s world tour features a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, according to Vivid Seats' FAQ.
"This setup places the stage at the center of the venue, with the audience surrounding it on all sides for a more immersive concert experience," the website says.
The El Paso Times captured images of the Sun Bowl being assembled a day ahead of the BTS concerts in El Paso.
There will be BTS merchandise areas both inside and outside of the Sun Bowl.
The BTS Official Merchandise Booths are open outside the stadium on concert days from 9 a.m. until the end of the show. The shows are expected to end at 11 p.m.
The following is the setlist from their concert on April 26 in Tampa. The band appears to follow a similar setlist so far in its performances.

BTS is a seven‑member South Korean pop group formed by Big Hit Entertainment, now part of HYBE.
The Grammy-nominated band debuted in June 2013 and has since reached global fame and was named TIME’s Entertainer of the Year 2020.
BTS stands for acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene” and members are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook.
