Tuesday’s six-game slate doesn’t boast a ton of PRA (points, rebounds and assists) machines, leaving a certain MVP candidate as the clear choice, at least on paper.

Victor Wembanyama would have been a threat to claim the crown if fully healthy. Unfortunately, a recent knee hyperextension will ensure that Wemby, if available, remains on a strict minutes restriction against the Grizzlies. Donovan Mitchell has been pouring in the points lately, but a lack of real R+A upside makes me wary of the veteran scoring machine. Zion Williamson has the potential to drop 40 points, which could put him in contention, but inconsistent usage is a concern.

That leaves us with Luka Doncic. In case you haven’t checked up on him in a while, L.A.’s superstar is still putting up video game numbers. Doncic is averaging 33.7 points, 8.7 assists and 8.1 rebounds per game. He racked up 53 PRA in his most recent outing against the Grizzlies. Even on a lesser day, Doncic’s usage rate rarely dips below 34%. Luka has claimed the King of the Court crown twice already this season, and this week, I expect him to add to that total.
