Where to watch UConn women’s basketball take on St. John’s tonight

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team is poised for another Big East Conference matchup on Wednesday night.

No. 1 UConn takes on St. John’s at the PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford.

Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. The game will air on truTV.

Look for Channel 3’s pregame show at 7 p.m. on The Wax.

UConn announced that Wednesday night is “Pros Night.” The university said it plans to celebrate some of the program’s former athletes who went pro in the WNBA, the Unrivaled league, and other leagues around the world.

In the Huskies last matchup against Seton Hall on Saturday, Sarah Strong put up 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She also dished 4 assists and snagged 4 steals.

UConn won 84-48 to improve to 15-0 overall and 6-0 in the Big East.

The Huskies will be dealing with a list of injuries for Wednesday night’s game.

Jana El-Alfy is out with a concussion, Ice Brady will sit due to an inflamed knee, and Morgan Cheli is also out as she continues to rehab a foot injury.

In addition, Ayanna Patterson is questionable due to a concussion sustained in practice last week.

UConn will fly to Omaha, NE for their next game against Creighton. The game is Sunday at 2 p.m. on truTV.
