MARION, Ark. (WMC) – Over 1,500 Entergy customers lost power in Marion after a utility pole was damaged Thursday afternoon.

Entergy reported the outage at 3:46 p.m.

The outage impacted the eastern side of Highway 77. Neighborhoods along the arterial Marion Lake Road and East Military Road were primarily affected.

As of 8:50 p.m., 93 customers still remain in the dark. Entergy now estimates that power will be fully restored by midnight.
