Carolina has controlled the series so far, opening Round 2 with a 3-0 win behind Logan Stankoven’s two-goal night and Frederik Andersen’s 19-save shutout. Game 2 was much tighter, with Philadelphia jumping ahead 2-0 on goals from Jamie Drysdale and Sean Couturier before the Hurricanes rallied through Nikolaj Ehlers and Seth Jarvis, then won it 3-2 in overtime on Taylor Hall’s goal. Andersen was a major factor again with 34 saves, while Dan Vladar kept the Flyers in it with 39 stops.

Philadelphia showed more life in Game 2, but the Flyers now return home needing a win to avoid a 3-0 hole against a Hurricanes team that is still unbeaten this postseason.
