No rivalry here! Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings swooned over Wheel of Fortune cohost Vanna White as he showed fans a special backstage area at Sony.

On May 17, Jennings posted a photo of himself to Instagram, posing by a stairwell. On the wall behind him was a huge $3,500 wedge from Wheel of Fortune.

“When in Los Angeles, don’t miss the chance to get a photo with the world’s largest $3,500 Wheel of Fortune space,” he captioned the post.

When a fan asked where this photo was taken, Jennings shared that the wedge is featured on the Sony Pictures Studio Tour. If Wheel and Jeopardy! are not filming at the time, fans can go on the sets. So, summertime would be the best bet if you are a fan of game shows since they don’t typically film during those months.

Another commented, saying, “Fun! Also, a shout-out for Vanna White, who has been on the show for 43 years. I remember the day I realized that long ago I was the same age as my kid, watching the same co-host.”

To that, Jennings gushed, “Vanna is the absolute best.”

Wheel and Jeopardy! are syndicated shows and usually air back-to-back on fans’ local networks. They also film next to each other on the Sony lot. Even though they are sometimes pitted against each other, there is no bad blood between the hosts.

Jennings told us in June 2025 that when WOF isn’t filming, White will stop by and say hi because she has the same hairstylist as Jennings, with whom White is good friends. “She is just the most delightful person, so sweet, unchanged by her decades of being a TV legend. She is the best,” he said.

Jennings also shared that White’s cohost, Ryan Seacrest, who joined WOF in 2024, “frustrates him” because he’s “so good at everything.” “I’m glad he didn’t go for Jeopardy! host because he might have gotten it,” Jennings joked.

Fans reacted to the huge Wheel wedge and the crossover between the two game shows. “Game (show) recognizes game(show),” one fan said.

“Oh, this must be why they say ‘big money,’” another wrote.

“Or is it the world’s smallest Ken Jennings?” one last fan joked.
