A United Airlines spokesperson would only confirm Flight 2005 landed safely at the airport to address what the airline said was a “security concern with an unruly passenger.”
“FBI Milwaukee’s Madison Resident Agency and law enforcement partners responded immediately. A subject was detained by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and afterwards, passengers resumed their flight,” FBI Milwaukee Field Office spokesperson Caroline Clancy said in an emailed statement.
She did not elaborate.
