Fans of Chance the Rapper will finally have their chance to the see the Grammy-winning hip-hop artist perform in Louisville for the first time in more than a decade.

This performance marks a significant return for the artist, who last performed in town at the Louisville Palace in 2015.

On May 14, he announced additional concert dates, including a stop at Louisville’s Old Forester’s Paristown Hall, 724 Brent St., on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

The concert is part of his “Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour,” his classic 2016 mixtape which made Chance the first streaming-only, independent artist to win multiple Grammy Awards off a mixtape. Blending elements of gospel, soul, hip hop and other genres, Chance won Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Performance for “No Problem,” at the 59th Grammy Awards.

Across his career, Chance has teamed up with some of the biggest names in music, including Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Childish Gambino, while staying true to his independent roots. Offstage he’s just as active, especially in Chicago where he’s poured time and resources into education and youth programs in his hometown.

The “Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour” will hit nearly 40 cities including Louisville, Nashville, Cincinnati and St. Louis.

Presale sign up for tickets is available at signup.livenation.com. Presale opens nationwide on May 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 21 at 10 a.m. at kentuckyperformingarts.org.
