Universal Pictures, Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media, Prime Focus Studios and DreamWorks Animation today debuted the first look at CoComelon: The Movie (shown above) and announced the voice cast for the big screen adventure, set to arrive in theaters on Friday, February 19, 2027.
The cast roster includes SZA (One of Them Days), Ike Barinholtz (The Studio), Nicholas Hoult (Superman), Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live), Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live), Josh Johnson (The Daily Show), Matt Friend (Family Guy), Rhys Darby (Jumanji: The Next Level) and Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso). Each actor voices a character newly created for the film, expanding the CoComelon world with fresh faces ready for their theatrical debut.
In addition to the new character voices, a quartet of young actors will be voicing the familiar kiddos from CoComelon. Connor Esterson (Spy Kids: Armageddon) will voice JJ, Camden Brooks (Swapped) will voice Cody, Olivia London Leyva (Lopez vs. Lopez) will voice Nina and Aerina DeBoer (The Summer I Turned Pretty) will voice CeCe.
The 3D CG animated feature will be released by Universal Pictures and produced by Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media, Prime Focus Studios and DreamWorks Animation, with animation by the DNEG Group. The film is directed by Kat Good (story artist on Kung Fu Panda). Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum songwriter and producer Justin Tranter, who has collaborated on chart-topping work with Chappell Roan, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, serves as executive music producer.
Logline: Created for the theatrical experience, this epic adventure invites families to go beyond the world of CoComelon that they know, following JJ, his friends, and an exciting new cast of characters on a cinematic journey filled with original music and rich storytelling.
