Grayson Allen is available, and Mark Williams has been ruled out for Suns-Warriors on Friday night, with the winner of the play-in matchup in Phoenix earning the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference playoff bracket.

Both players were questionable when the injury report came out on Thursday, and Williams was downgraded on Friday.

No other Suns players were on Friday’s NBA injury report.

Allen was absent for the Suns’ loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, as the guard is still dealing with a left hamstring injury. He is listed as dealing with a strain rather than what was previously categorized as soreness.

He averaged 3.1 made 3-pointers on 8.9 attempts across 51 regular-season contests, which is volume/efficiency the Suns may need to advance after only making nine of 25 shots from 3 against Portland.

The veteran guard has averaged a career-best 16.5 points per game.

Williams, on the other hand, started Tuesday and scored four points (2-of-3 shooting) in 22 minutes. He added four rebounds, three blocks and two assists while not turning the ball over. He is listed with left foot soreness after dealing with a stress reaction in the same foot earlier this season.

The 7-foot-1 center set career-highs in starts (55) and game appearances (60) during the regular season while averaging 11.7 points (64.4% shooting), eight rebounds and 0.9 blocks.

Warriors’ injury outlook entering play-in

NBA trade deadline acquisition Kristaps Porzingis is questionable for Golden State with right ankle soreness after playing 28 minutes Wednesday and contributing 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting, five rebounds, five assists and two blocks.

The Warriors, the No. 10 seed in the regular season standings, defeated the Los Angeles Clippers for a shot at a postseason berth.

Backup center Quinten Post was ruled out with right foot injury management.

Jimmy Butler (right ACL surgery) and Moses Moody (left patellar tendon surgery) remain out for Golden State.

Listen to the game on Friday at 7 p.m. on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app. It will be streamed exclusively on Prime Video.
