GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Many wildfires have popped up around NCFL the past few days due to dry conditions, but we may get a drizzle this weekend
- Tonight: The TV20 weather team has been warning of fire-starting weather since last week, due to low humidity and breezes. Otherwise, our ❀ Earth Day ❀weather has been great. A few clouds for some shade, temps in the upper 70s and low 80s. Easterly winds are calmer today, overnight lows will be in the 50s.
- Thursday: Another nice day with more sunshine and temperatures in the 80s, winds will still be E up to 10 MPH, and nighttime temps will be in the 50s
- Extended: An incoming front will stall out above the state for a few days, but this will change the wind direction to become south. This helps drag in more moisture, increasing rain chances this weekend.
Have an excellent Earth Day!
