SYDNEY, Australia – April 13, 2026 – Tonight, Prime Video brought the twisted world of The Boys to Luna Park Sydney for a diabolical, immersive celebration of the global hit series’ fifth and final season, with a pinnacle moment that saw the iconic Luna Park face taken over by a suped-up spectacle dedicated to the Emmy Award-winning series in front of more than 500 fans.
The special event was attended by The Boys star Karl Urban, who walked the red carpet and joined guests for a night of chaos inspired by the unapologetically outrageous world of the series.
Media, fans and special guests including Nina Oyama, April Rose Pengilly, Jean Tong, Justin Hill, Nick Brown, Jana Bartolo, Danijela Dacic and Aicha Robertson attended the event, stepping into an immersive experience that transformed Luna Park Sydney for the ultimate final season celebration. Throughout the night, guests explored a series of themed activation spaces inspired by the world of The Boys, from adopting the power of Butcher’s tentacles and A-Train’s super speed, to drinking questionable shots from the Milk Bar and an installation of Laser Babies.
The night culminated in a special Q&A with Karl Urban out the front of the amusement park, hosted by Smallzy, before Karl lit up Luna Park’s iconic face with a suped-up spectacle – a bold projection takeover across the landmark in true The Boys style.

About The Boys Season 5:
In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen.
The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The Boys is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
Season Five of the multi-Emmy Award-winning series premiered on April 8, 2026, with two episodes, followed by a new episode each week, culminating in the unforgettable series finale on May 20, 2026. The season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
