I Lived Like a Mormon for 30 Days Now I’m Joining the Church
A mere experiment turned into something this influencer never expected. In fact, Chris of the YouTube channel “Chris the Casual” was once emphatic that he would never join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But after a month of living like member, his life is about to change forever. Watch below to learn more about his journey and show your support!
New Digital Resource Highlights Stories of Northwestern Shoshone Latter-day Saints
From the video description:
In collaboration with the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has published a new digital history resource, “Native Saints: The Washakie Ward,” highlighting stories from one of the first Indigenous congregations in the Church’s history.
I Will Walk With Jesus | BYU Vocal Point ft. Rise Up Children’s Choir
From the video description:
“I Will Walk With Jesus” is quickly becoming a beloved Latter-day Saint hymn. Written by author and composer Steve Schank, it invites God’s children to learn and grow by following the Savior’s example as described in Luke 2:52 – “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
This collaboration between BYU Vocal Point and Rise Up Children’s Choir was shot on the shore of Utah Lake, and calls to mind Jesus Christ’s feeding of the 5,000. As we walk with Jesus, we learn to serve and minister to one another as he did.
Everything Johnny Harris gets WRONG about Mormons
Ruth
From the video description:
In a world where loyalty often fades when life becomes difficult, the story of Ruth shines with quiet greatness.
After famine and tragedy claimed the lives of Naomi’s husband and sons, Ruth stood at a crossroads. She could return home, reclaim her old life, and disappear into obscurity.
Instead, she made a covenant.
“Whither thou goest, I will go… thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.”
Ruth left behind her homeland, her traditions, and her future as she knew it—all out of love, faith, and loyalty to Naomi and to the God of Israel.
Her devotion did not go unnoticed.
Through an unexpected chain of events, Ruth would become the great-grandmother of King David—and an ancestress of Jesus Christ Himself.
True loyalty is stronger than iron. It holds us in place when every easier road invites us away.
Stick tight where you ought to be.
